Good local pub down by the sailing club. Always has several real ale pumps. Very crowded and lively Friday/Saturday nights and somehow manages to put on live music sometimes. Wear your grubbiest wooly jumper. BitterShurn - 5 Aug 2016 21:05 |
Good pub near to the harbour, good selection of real ale on offer which were in good condition, has a large outside drinking area out the back of the pub and also some undercover seating next to the toilets. A good, busy pub aimed at drinkers more than anything, good service from the barstaff. beershot - 12 Sep 2013 18:32 |
On our visit on a warm Saturday in May, the place was heaving with a rowdy wedding party. It felt like we'd wandered into a private celebration and ended up a rather uncomfortable experience, to be honest - being stared at is a bit 20th century. The beer was acceptable enough - Black Gold top draw - but really, I imagine that this place gets a lot of police visits if this is a typical afternoon's 'entertainment'. Good to see a pub busy though - can't knock them for that. pkrp - 12 Jun 2013 22:27 |
Pretty boisterous when I was in there on a Friday night but not aggressively so. Beer was ok and fine for Emsworth. boozerbill - 1 Sep 2012 01:00 |
Attractive and friendly local's pub with beer from Fullers and guests(Osset Gold on my visit). Definately worth a go. baxterfish - 26 Aug 2010 22:01 |
