| Used to be a nice pub. Now..... Rude ignorant lazy staff. Particularly unpleasant to guests with children. Drab depressing interior. Place needs a complete makeover, soul destroyingly dull. Must explain the lack smiles from the indifferent feral staff. | I like this pub. Although I'm not a great fan of Youngs beer (their principal hand pulled beer) it is well kept and they do have interesting guests including Black Sheep and Timothy Taylor's Landlord. The pub is certainly unpretentious with a "pub grub" menu.I have eaten several times and the food has always been good and of particularly good value.
