Adam, I am certainly a regular. Why? Because its a great boozer! Each to their own I guess. strangetorpor - 16 Apr 2013 20:39 |
Horrible unfriendly little pub. I am perplexed as to how all these good comments came about? Second time I have visited and staff are disinterested with an attitude of 'I don't want to be here'. I am only assuming those comments are from regulars or landlords themselves! Prefer the other Irish bar across the road. Bit more atmosphere to say the least! AdamS78 - 16 Apr 2013 18:50 |
Ive been in here a few times recently and had a few Pints & ive always found it too be a nice Bar. There are plenty of TVs too watch sport on and few few snug corners. Its only one large room but there's lots of seating and alcoves too sit in. They serve a Nice Pint of Guinness as well. There is also a heated smoking area outside at the front. I Found the staff & other customers very welcoming & polite. I would say its one of the better Places too have a drink around East Finchley I will visit again when in the area especially as I live just off fortis green and there's not many good pubs in that area. Had a great St Patrick's Day (night) here. Great crowd, decent music, but it was hot in there. Don't know what the comments on the staff are about. They're a great, and very hard-working bunch. GaryB007 - 21 Mar 2013 20:33 |
Brilliant pub. Mystified by previous comments. Here I can go alone or accompanied and feel at home and amongst friends. Great place to watch sport and beer always well kept. Its a pub with a heart and a soul. The landlord here has done a brilliant job in transforming the place into the first class watering hole it now is. And far from all this 'Dirty Gerties' nonsense the place is always clean and immaculate and the regulars are some of the most civilised people you could wish to meet. My wife and mother both confirm that the wine available is superior to any other pub in the locality. This is everything a community pub should be. Bravo! strangetorpor - 6 Jan 2013 11:02 |
