| Stayed here with my Dad for a few days hiking in the local area. We were in the small barn opposite the pub, next to the stream. Good location - with plenty of walks available from the pub such as Bucken Pike, Bucken, Starbotton and Hubberholme. The pub itself is very traditional with stone floors and farming equipment hanging on the walls. Beer range included Timothy Taylors (Keighley) and Copper Dragon (Skipton). Food was very good - I especially recommend the belly pork and black pudding. Very friendly staff. My only improvement would be for them to include a guest beer or one of the more local breweries (Dent, Yorkshire Dales, Wensleydale etc). 8/10 jimbob89 - 14 Aug 2011 21:38 |
