I have been to the Ivory Club twice. Last night I took a good friend there and our meal was absolutely fresh and delicious. We each had 2 bottles of Cobra beer. Started with the Tandoori Mixed Grill (Chicken, Lamb etc brought to our table sizzling away). It was yummy. Then we had Butter Chicken, Lamb Jalfrezi, an Aubergine dish, 2 lots of pilau rice, 1 keema naan, 1 garlic naan with butter. We could not finish the food, just too much. I found the rice to be a bit watery, there was a bit water collected at the bottom of the rice dish. But the naan was lovely, the chicken, lamb and aubergine dish were fantastic. In all 47. The young Indian lady serving us was nice, petite and very pleasant on all fronts. I will go back for sure. LordF - 21 Apr 2007 10:35 |
Supposed to be members only but if you're not Asian you can fill in as many application forms as you like and you will never hear from Rohan. Food is good though. Ian_Ellis - 29 Jun 2005 23:51 |
Very nice decor but a very bland atmosphere. The food is of very low quality for the high prices it charges. Do not go to Ivory to eat. anonymous - 20 Apr 2005 16:45 |
The Ivory Club is a restaurant/pub with restricted entry (you have to buzz for entry and if you look dodgy they don't let you in). A fairly new place (as of May 2004), this is a good place for a relaxing pint and a curry - it's classed as a restaurant but they don't mind you just having a drink. Tony - 24 May 2004 21:24 |
