Called in on a lunchtime. Was quiet but beer was good and service very good. Will be coming back. Dan137 - 1 May 2013 09:14 |
I handpump with a Londun Pride clip turned around on Wednesday when we visited. the lady serving aid that it was normally on but she was only covering the pub for a week. Food looked reasonable but wasn't sampled. cheshirecat - 12 Oct 2012 09:17 |
At last someone has taken this pub over and has plans to improve it. Decor is pretty awful, but the food is good and yes, there is now wine by the glass and bottle (instead of a box). Food prices are fairly reasonable too. Be good when it has had a makeover. Friendly landlord and landlady. Open all day Sat and Sun and now there is some decent real ale too, provided by West Berks Brewery. Soots - 29 Jul 2008 10:00 |
A locals pub. Needs FOOD for Gawds sake and how about wine by the glass. What year are we living in! Please try harder and some West Berks ales wouldn't go amiss either. JJ anonymous - 27 Sep 2006 18:35 |
Welcoming and pleasant pub with a friendly crowd patrons in the village of Kintbury in West Berks. Less than 0.4 mile from train station and the Kennet-Avon Canal. Peter - 23 May 2004 01:33 |
