My wife and I went on a Monday night and had an excellent meal and at a reasonable price. The service was friendly and would recommend it to other friends George Anderson georgeanderson - 14 Apr 2009 10:24 |
The Wollaston Inn offers an excellent standard of food and service in a relaxed atmosphere and a great location. I visit on a regular basis sometimes with friends and families but most with business colleagues, all of which have enjoyed the experience and have returned when possible. janice1809 - 11 Mar 2009 19:25 |
I visit the wollaston inn on a regular basis and the staff are always very welcoming and knowledgable. The new, 2 courses for 10 is great with traditional food served all day, i went in on my lunch break today and had sheperds pie and a steamed lemon pudding which were both excellent. The fish and al a carte menu are always of a high standard with local seasonal ingredients. The bar is also a great place to be whether it be a saturday night or a quiet drink on a tuesday. I would recommed this place to anyone garethsmith - 26 Jan 2009 15:15 |
The Wollaston Inn is very good, in my opinion My company uses the Inn for corporate lunches and functions and the food is always top notch. Friendly, attentive staff who know about food and wine serve you, the private dining rooms are lovely and just right for a small gathering - 5 -20 people. The main restuarant is blessed with an open fire - if you can get a table next to it, its perfect for a romantic meal. Its popular so you'll need to book, the food is well priced for its high standards, and we've always enjoyed it. Theres a good selection of drinks and the bar area is comfortable and popular. Well worth a visit! KerrAvon - 16 Jan 2009 14:03 |
not impressed!went there last saturday evening with friends and although the food was pricey it was nice enough but the service was dreadful!unfriendly, with an "i-don't care" attitude the girl serving us certainly made sure that we won't return or recommend this restaurant-ever heard of warm, welcoming customer- focused service??? zoe12 - 6 May 2008 18:01 |
