Great pub! Great management. Lovely pair. Would reccomend to anyone! Nowhere else can you have a great curry and a pint in the same place 10/10! Lpagey - 15 May 2012 23:33 |
Pretends to be something it definately isn't - Michelin star prices - Little chef standard chef !! 3 overcooked tiny scallops 7.50 - a tasteless chicken roll thing 15 ! and get this PAPER napkins ! I mean paying 20 a dish why would you expect linen ! Shoehorned into the corner of a very small bland characterless restaurant and nope couldn't recommend this at all ! Nice local that's turned the restaurant section into something to write home about! They've hired a new chef and the dude cooks up some good grub. Little pricey, but this ain't pub grub. Had the best cheese cake ever right here. The bar serves up a few real ales, has a pool table, plenty of room while retaining a cozy feel. jaykoivu - 26 May 2005 05:04 |
The food in the new restaurant here is absolutely amazing, the service and atmosphere very recomendable. Not overly expensive for what you get, perfect for a special occasion! Laura - 6 Oct 2004 12:17 |
This place has a well in one of the rooms that the owner is turning into a fish pond! Quaint place, quite tidy. Went for lunch. Had a great shepherd's pie with lamb. Very tasty. Unfortunately, didn't have a beer or even take a look-see what they had. I was, ah, under the weather at the time and not much in the mood for a pint. jason - [email protected] - 13 May 2004 22:33 |
