Not sure how this pub rates in winter, but we visited on hot sunny day, sat outside looking at the river and enjoyed a cracking pint of Shropshire Gold. It was the perfect beer and the perfect location at the time. Perry_Mason - 26 Nov 2010 15:30 |
We found this by accident on Sunday. The Royal Hill serves excellent good value food, good portions too. The beer is excellent. Shropshire Gold from Salopian and XXX from Three Tuns, Bishop's Castle. Lovely snub bar and great friendly local people. Its a pretty place alongside the river. We cycled along quiet lanes to the pub. There is a campsite too and we plan to camp in the summer. oswestrymike - 17 Feb 2010 08:39 |
