| Most websites state that the Rhos Yr Hafod does not open until 5pm. So we intentionally delayed our arrival. However we did reach here a little earlier than planned and found the pub was open with locals having watched the international rugby. After a few attempts at getting in the front door and assuming there was some kind of 'lock in', one guy finally opened the door for us. This is a fairly friendly place that serves a couple of ales. On this visit, they had Cottage Saxon & Mantle Cwrw Teifi. I tried the latter, which wasn't really my kind of beer. But it was well kept. blue_scrumpy - 14 Nov 2016 19:18 |
