This place shouldn't really be listed on here. There is no beer here. But if there was a cocktailintheevening website, it could be listed. As a bar, it's ok. Cocktails are all that is served and they're quite pricey. Although the Monday to Thursday happy hour buy one get one free offer makes it slightly better value. Not my normal kind of establishment. But I think I've already covered all of the decent pubs in this area and I was working nearby. Reasonably busy for a Wednesday evening, it's a dark and narrow single room with the bar at the rear. There are mirrors along the wall to make it bigger. As the previous reviewer suggest, the crowd is fairly young. blue_scrumpy - 6 Jun 2013 20:03 |
I genuinely dont understand this conundrum. If you are actually of legal drinking age, why on earth would you want to spend time in this establishment? Surely a bar specifically designed for underage drinkers is something of an oxymoron? elegiac_stanzas - 7 Aug 2012 12:46 |
This is a fun and friendly cocktail centred bar. The bar staff are welcoming if a little over the top at times. It gets pretty packed after work and on weekend evenings so it can sometimes be a challenge getting somewhere to sit as it isn't huge. Also as has been mentioned beware if you're intending on having a quiet conversation, as that won't be happening here. Jecissa - 9 Apr 2012 15:49 |
Great bar, always friendly staff, atmospheric, cracking place to go after work or into the night. kevj - 25 Feb 2012 14:55 |
Nice and popular bar with friendly and efficient service. The cocktails are excellent and atmosphere great, but be prepared to shout to have a conversation later on at night if you haven't managed to get a seat nearer the front. W_Lucy - 23 Oct 2011 18:50 |
