| went back last night and the place was shite... when i asked that my food be redone i had a very nasty comments from the staff and then my food looked like the dsame plate of food but slightly reheated... loud mouth welsh woman came out and had a go at me when i comeplained a second time.. what a rude place manager... i will never be back!"!!!!!! jstone - 13 Apr 2011 00:43 |

| This is a cheap and cheerful pub, and is set up for children with a nice play area! Not the place to go for a romantic or quiet meal, but for the money the meals are brilliant value and we go nearly every week and haven't had to complain about the food ever! The staff aren;t always the most attentive, the bar staff are often talking to mates whilst serving or just not the friendliest. But some of the waiting staff are very friendly, especially one guy who always chats to everyone and is really nice! spamo - 20 Feb 2011 19:57 |
| The Mill House possibly should be renamed the hell house , I appreciate its designed for families to eat there, but when you are surrounded by hordes of screaming mini chavs, with their parents bellowing at them across the room, its not pleasant. The staff are appallingly trained and motivated they quite honestly cannot care less, its almost amazing how indifferent they are to any concept of customer service. The food is appalling, tasteless mass catered junk , thats slopped onto plates and arrives in completely random order, starters after main courses, or together or sometimes not at all. You sometimes are told things have run out 25 minutes after you ordered... unbelievable ! The beers have a weird habit of being connected to the wrong pipes and you get cider mixed with lager etc , does anyone there have any experience of working in a pub ever ? The decor is corporate , boring and does well to cover up all the food that the mini chavs drop everywhere. | Used to be ok, now it is poor. Last time I visited I think they had the wrong barrels on the wrong pumps, as the Blackthorn tasted of Carling and vice versa. wilts99 - 25 Oct 2008 22:01 |
