£5.25 for a flat end of barrel ESB Pubpunk2018 - 14 Jun 2023 18:27 |
largely unchanged and still a standard old style Fuller's house. Only Pride and ESB on draught and both were pretty bland. Snarling_Mallard - 31 Dec 2018 12:53 |
Fullers pub that as the previous reviewer says has a cosy interior. London Pride, ESB & Fire Cracker were the 3 ales. Toilets were clean. Handy for the bus, but a little on the expensive side. blue_scrumpy - 1 Dec 2014 21:35 |
Quite similar to other Fullers pubs I've been to across London in the sense it's a bit generic but still they've maintained a classic and traditional fixtures and fittings allowing for a cosy drink. A pub unlikely to insult anybody's tastes. A safe option, but as a Fullers pub they do maintain a well kept selection of their wares and it was quite a comfortable boozer for a quiet one. This Sunday my pint was served in a glass that was collecting the drips from the handpump!! This is very bad policy and I assume that it is some sort of money saving program. The ale was tainted/stale because of this process. Goodness knows how long the glass had been collecting these drips - or maybethe ale was left over from pulling someone elses pint. This is a practice that should be discouraged!! That having been said this is still a great pub with well kept ales and pleasant atmosphere and once the pint was changed it didn't happen again. The restaurant is also pleasant. stemginger - 19 Sep 2013 10:32 |
