| This pub has got an excellent beer garden that�s great in the summer. Rest of the points Alex makes are fair. However you want to go back in December when the Christmas lights go up....they must fire up an extra turbine at Kingsnorth power station to light the things up. I think they and another pub in Stoke try and out illuminate each other. The result is that any funds put aside for a much needed refurbishment is blown on electricity. Apparently. | Oh dear. The locals of this small remote village really do have it hard. This pub is only slightly better than 'The Pilot', round in Avery Way. Very small, and completly adorned in fairy/flashing lights. Sounds funny but trust me it's not. Not too clean either. I had a pint of Courage Best that tasted like Evian. Alex - 29 Mar 2004 13:25 |
