| 'Bistro' one half (caled Brodick Brasserie), functional square one roomed bar (called Brodick bar) the other. Unusual in being opposite a sorting office yet not full of postmen. | Quite a nice place, although most people were there for the food so not much atmosphere in the bar. Beer was good (with Arran ales available in bottles) if a bit expensive - but I couldn't find a pint for less than �3 on Arran. | Visited in June 2009. Deuchars IPA, not on handpump. Beer was okay but pricey at �3.30. This seems to be normal for the island. Lacking an atmosphere, probably because it was afternoon and there was a shortage of customers.
