It's a chinese restaurant with a small bar. Aerosol beer only, but what do you really expect? The food is very good, and the running lunchtime buffet is about half the price it is in the evening! Top Tip - Avoid rice and noodles if you really want to get your money's worth! Modern decor makes it rather soul-less, and the picture windows do not do it any favours. The service, as you might expect, is exemplary. As a restaurant, 6/10, but as a bar, it's a zero I'm afraid 5thearlofwimbourne - 20 Feb 2007 18:41 |

Not really a bar although there is a small seating area. The main business is an excellent "all-you-can-eat" Chinese buffet and it is worth a mention just for that. No "all boiled rice and hunt the crispy duck" here, as attentive staff keep the varied and plentiful dishes well stocked. It's not cheap and you probably have to ask yourself if you are able to eat 13 worth of Chinese food but it is cheaper midweek and lunchtimes and is well worth a visit if you're hungry. It's a nice bar in a new buffet style chinese restaurant... was hoping this new place would be something really cool, but this isn't bad. Bar more than pub, though it does have draught ales. Bit soulless, but it is new. Pauly - 18 Feb 2004 15:36 |
