Closed for refurbishment during most of December. But reopened, just before Christmas. Work tastefully done, the pub looks very well. And concentrates, largely, on food. wealdman - 26 Jan 2020 12:45 |
The Blenheim has had a bad reputation in the past but in the 70's it was a very popular pub. More recently it has seen a very good revival, mainly due to the new managers. There has been events all year round; Easter egg hunts, summer bbqs, halloween, old peoples party to name a few and loads of charity events throughout the whole year. The pub is part of the Epsom & Ewell Darts and pool leagues as well as having entertainment every Friday night. It is a traditional Pub which is safe and everyone is friendly. Families use it all the time. I agree it was bad for a number of years but it is one of the best in Epsom now with a very good atmosphere and has a very long history. brent1 - 7 Jan 2014 20:46 |

Large pub in a basically residential area. The bar is in the middle with large rooms either side. The lefthand side appears to be reserved for sports i.e. darts and pool while the righthand side has basic wooden chairs and tables. Bare floorboards abound. Very poor utilisation is made of the space available. It feels more like an old style public bar and is not very inviting. There is no real ale only Greene King IPA smooth - yuck! It is not worth even a casual visit. boozers_knows - 13 Jul 2011 14:55 |
