The Arch is my local so I am a little biased butI have been going there since I was a young lad (not quite in short pants) but I always find a welcome there. OK there is no real ale but what is there is well kept. The staff are invariably friendly, the music usually good and the food excellent. Keep it up dGriz - 13 Oct 2008 13:17 |
This pub is a great venue. The staff are friendly and it is great craic all year aroound. the drinks are slightly about average in price but this keeps the riff raff out that you get in places like moons etc. Extremely good at the weekends and always stuff going on during the week. Very good night out on st patricks, and generally all over the xmas period. Live music every weekend. 15 plasma screens and two large screens for football. show some games you can't see anywhere else in uk. extremely good for showing gaelic sports in summer. mcgremlin - 17 Feb 2007 12:07 |

Typical Irish-themed pub but at least it's run by authentic Irish and serves good Guinness (no real ales, but you wouldn't expect them). A number of large screens mean that you can usually catch whichever sporting event you're keen to see (although the bias is towards soccer and celtic sports). Friendly service, a good bar menu and a pleasant crowd. Limited parking outside the pub. maxwurr - 27 Jul 2005 11:56 |
