Pretty empty during the day.The kind of place you could get a really good retro photo of a 60's pub ,60's patrons, vinyly pub...In fact I really liked it! EdgarBriggsMI5 - 2 Aug 2007 00:49 |
Was taken to Hartigan's by my cousin in the middle of a sunny Tuesday afternoon 18 months ago to experience "The Best Guinness In Dublin" and whilst there was told stories of how his brother had managed to be barred twice, and how my uncle had spent most of his student days there. Apparently the decor has been the same since then, although the classic advertising for the local tipples is enjoyable, and the location is away from the madding crowds of St Stephen's green. Will definately visit again next time i'm in Dublin, and will hopefully learn more about my family's history in the pub. cs192 - 27 Nov 2006 07:20 |
Very popular with civil servants and people from the foreign office on merrion square. Traditional Dublin pub, serves a decent pint. not of the tourist variety. Personal favourite. Rivers - [email protected] - 17 Feb 2004 11:48 |
One of the best Guinnesses in town, other than that pretty boring decor. Full of engineers. Other drinks than Guinness on tap but they are rarely used. B Hickey - 22 Jan 2004 22:52 |
