If you like a `real proper pub` this place is for you. There`s nothing touristy about it..Guiness and stew just about sums it up. Not the place to take the missus though..."I couldn`t possibly eat in here!" Blastbeat - 8 Mar 2013 10:27 |
Sat at the bar on the ground floor -still the same 'seen it all-but don't quote me' clientele. Still haven;t found a pub anywhere near here with that same atmosphere-so I'll keep coming EdgarBriggsMI5 - 2 Aug 2007 00:52 |
Down at heal - and all the better for it. Old school pub. JohnnyCrow - 31 Jan 2007 08:49 |
Ther ground floor has a 'down at heel' feel, which isn't found much in this part of town. This is seen in both the surroundings and the regfulars-who have the looked of the failed muso about them...Decent atmosphere EdgarBriggsMI5 - 6 Sep 2006 21:24 |
