| We were left disappointed by this place. The garden was tatty so we sat inside which to be fair is huge with a couple of bars with character. | Quite simply a piece of genuine Devon life. The Weary (dermot / david o'leary to the locals in their humourous non-cockney slang) sits firmly in the hearts of all who have been there. THe friendly staff, car park, very large garden, playarea, live music, fantastic atmosphere, two bars, Friday and Saturday late night opening with disco (and sometimes a dj! if not then 'now thats what i call the very best of dance 98 in the world ever'), big screen, sunday roasts and impressive all-day menu mean that is actually possible to live in this pub, and trust us many Cullomptonians do. If you only come here once, make sure its Wearyfest (snakebite fuelled all-dayer held on Sunday of August Bank Holiday weekend). or actually xmas eve is pretty fantastic.
