| Closed. Looked at using the venue for a weekly fetish night for Wellingborough but so terribly cold. Water leak damaged ceilings and basically the place needs gutting and revamping. Problem is until the owners acknowledge the lad that died outside with perhaps some little mini gathering / memorial evening instead of pretending it never happened, it will never be a popular place as hundreds of the town folks shun it. | Now closed - and not before time, in my humble opinion! Having said that, I never went there after the first couple of visits, simply because it wasn't my kind of place. Lager wall to wall, and a quite lary atmosphere. Regular fights, and bouncers on the door with those Madonna style microphones. Fights breaking out rasonably regularly, and more than one actual killing on the street outside. Oh... and the Christmas decorations including fully bauballed tree went up in September last year. | terrible place!! have been a few times - never without incident - always fights/ things stolen - the last time 3 of my friends had their coats stolen and manager claims cctv broken and my freinds purse stolen and credit card used. will never go back anonymous - 7 Feb 2007 10:59 |
