| Now called McGowan�s This pub is another addition to the McGowan�s portfolio adding to the one around the corner on Cricklewood Lane. I found the barman to be exceptionally friendly, it�s just a shame that my pint of Guinness was undrinkable � especially for a supposed Irish pub. There are some plasma screens and a projector screen for Sky Sports events and there is also a dartboard and a pool table. There is some balcony seating around the front edge of the bar area and there is also a stud walled function type room strangely located next to the bar. I�d imagine this place being popular when there is a football match on, but I wouldn�t return to a pub that can screw up a Guinness. Strongers - 1 Sep 2009 12:45 |
