| Thinking of moving to the area and this is the closest pub. Decent enough pint of Young's and got chatting to a friendly local straight off. Did not try the food but priced were reasonable. | Now called the William Bourne. Was good, then went awful awful awful. New landlord and landlady team this year have turned the place around. Now a great place to drink and eat. Easily the best pub in the 'Chessington North' area. A fantastic result to have a boozer run so professionally and in such a customer friendly manner - I really hope they stay! steveo - 2 Jul 2013 17:12 |
| I am writing because i am really disappointed that i came to this pub on saturday the 28th january for a karaoke with a few friends (as it was advertised all week) to find that no one showed up. Asked staff members if it was going ahead but they didnt seem to know themselves and the manageress was not available. I also like to know if anyone can tell me what has happened to the quiz that used to be on every week as there hasn't been one for several months as i used to really enjoy coming to this. it would be much appreciated if you can get back to me on these points.
