We've found this OK on some occasions: quite lively, youngish crowd, OK beers. The staff can get a bit pushy near closing time, and sometimes herd the clientele about for closing off sections when they're quiet, which is. Not. On. eddybeer - 15 Jan 2014 00:20 |
Agree with previous 2 comments and I have revised by rating. Had an argument with one of the pillocks working behind the bar too. Sharp - 28 Jan 2009 16:40 |

Wiltz is dead right. There's a big list of real ales pasted up in the window but only three or four on the pumps and one of those was off. Not what it was - more a caff that sells beer now. maxipop - 16 Dec 2008 18:02 |
This used to be a good pub with good ales and good service but has really gone downhill. I've stopped going in now as it is mucky, grubby, tatty and really short staffed. The beer selection is good or would be if they were 'on' but it's nearly always "oh sorry, that one's off". Oh, and the white wine used to be chilled properly. Have the chillers packed in cos it always comes out luke warm. The bogs are still good though when they're not leaking. Wiltz - 14 Jul 2008 09:50 |
