Went very recently. Lovely pub. Just refurbished and got new managers. wonderfull food. REAL CHIPS!! godsgift - 13 Jul 2010 23:16 |
Used to be a decent pub. Now managed (and I use the term loosely) and run by what appears to be the local youth club. Rancid ale, flat lager and after having to return our meal as inedible I would suggest you don't dine there. As mentioned by a previous poster it smells of drains and overall the premises are grubby. Potentially a decent pub, fair size, attentive staff, nice decor - however... Upon entering on Friday night, found atmosphere to be quite hostile from locals, who stared at us like we had just landed from Mars! Its one of them pubs, if your local - great, if your from outside the village - your not welcome! Scousefire - 20 Nov 2005 18:30 |
All in all, a bit rubbish. The beer is flat, has no head, is warm and the consistency of custard. The decor is cheap, the carpets sticky. The tables dirty and the smell of drains fills the air. Nasty. Dave Gordans - 2 Dec 2003 18:31 |
