I was pleasantly impressed by this Spoons. It's in a great location across the road from the castle, and the interior is light and airy - a refreshing change from the gloomy interior of most branches. Service was the usual letdown. Thwaites Wainwright, Conway Cwrw Gwledd Celebration Ale, Ruddles Best and Abbot Ale were the four real ales on offer. Weston's Old Rosie was available in the fridge. I would probably return if I ever pass through Carrick again. blue_scrumpy - 21 Jun 2009 14:05 |

Went last week to this pub with group of five friends, had a nice meal in pleasant surroundings, all for a very reasonable price. 4ales were available when we visited including Abbot and GK IPA. A real treat to find a nice location, good real ale, decent prices and some pleasant people working there. Well done to Weatherspoons for this pub. robtheman - 20 Feb 2008 11:09 |
