Went before and after The Specials gig, as the Beehive ( wetherspoons) was mobbed.. Beer was reasonably priced and ok. Plenty of space to sit..dance floor to skank around on, good DJ

I went to the NME awards at Brixton academy last week, and we thought we would pop in to Plan B on the way out. Hadn't been before, but the place looks great. They had a DJ playing party tunes, and there was a great atmosphere. The drinks were reasonable too. Will definitely go back soon a the weekend.

Hadn't been to Plan B in ages, and went back this weekend. They've completely changed the inside to how I remembered it. Seems much more spacious with loads more room to dance. Good crowd and a great atmosphere. I'd forgotten how good a place it is.

terrible gaff. when i was eventually served, the bar staff were too busy having fun there seemed to be a genuine piss take of me and the money i wanted to spend. I ordered a beer done straight away and a virgin mary. this took ages as the staff kept chatting and having fun, sorry for spending me money. anyhow eventually i get a plain tommy juice, i asked for ice, a slice, salt, pepper, tobasco, etc it took 2 minutes to get half of this coz i kid you not my charmless barmaid starting eating?!?! i i then said look are you too busy to serve me? she flew off the handle so i demanded to see the manager who proptly said if i caused trouble i woulb be barred. HELL HOLE

A pleasant alternative to the crowded pubs along the High Road if you are on your way to the Academy for a gig. Exposed brickwork and comfy minimalist style furniture make for a nice relaxed atmosphere and there's plenty of space inside umlike the Goose or The Backstage Bar just round the corner.
They do a good deal of a 2 for 1 Happy Hour on bottled beers on gig nights which helps eliminate the price difference between this and its rival venues in the locale, which might have been the only drawback until now.
Bar service is fairly fast and attentive but they do that annoying give your change back on a tray thing implying that it is the done thing to tip a barman for going to a fridge opening a door, getting out a couple of bottles of beer and opening them before plonking them on the bar in front of you, which surely is their bloody job, n'est pas?
Cocktails looked nice but they are extremely expensive (about 9 a throw and no happy hour on those, oh no!).
Not a place I'd choose to spend the whole night, especially as the music (ranging from easy listening to techno)isn't to my tastes, but a nice place to pop into for a couple.
