Great to see a tradintional public house being restored internally. It feels cosy in there with the open fire and all the locals are very friendly. I would recommend this pub to anybody who is looking to spend a quiet hour or so to chill and relax fro the busy hairy scary life that London sometimes presents. haircut100 - 19 Feb 2012 14:28 |
The only previous time I visited this pub - about 3 years ago - I was given the worst pint of London Pride (or any beer) I'd ever had and was forced to leave it (the pint and the pub). However I have heard that this pub has now been taken over by the landlord of the one and only RED LION, in which case things could well be looking up indeed. Watch this space. daveid - 29 Jun 2011 12:21 |
Proper back street pub. Amiable and friendly staff. Dart board too. Two bars, one of which is in the traditional style. In these days of mass pub closures this one deserves our support. nickthefish - 21 Sep 2009 06:36 |
