A once-great pub that never fails to disappoint these days. Staff hopeless, beer mediocre, clientele lamentable. catbert - 22 Feb 2011 01:20 |
Super place. Highly recommended. WILLIAMSTEW - 29 Sep 2008 00:38 |
Excellent pub especially when there's a good guest beer on tap. bertramr - 24 Jan 2008 20:53 |
being a northerner im always a little biased when it comes to ale houses "darn sarf" but this is a gem, the ale is well keptt, the staff are polite and helpful and its one of those places you could persuade yourself to stay in for "one more" thetwococks - 1 May 2007 17:43 |
This is a top old pub with a very welcome feel. The beers good, foods great and the staff are friendly. Sunday roast is the best value for money if you can get a table! I've always found a nice friendly mix of people drinking in the Dog too.. anonymous - 9 Apr 2007 20:47 |
