Visited here yesterday for a birthday party held in the back room. The area is not too pleasant and originally I had some misgivings. However our private party was handled fairly well and everybody enjoyed themselves. Beer choice is the standard selection of cold lagers and bottled foreign rubbish/alcopops. Although service was friendly. As a pub I probably wouldn't venture anywhere near it normally. But it served its purpose on this occasion. blue_scrumpy - 28 Jun 2009 13:15 |
I was extremely angry to have come across a review which had been submitted in my name which does not in any way represet my views. I can honestly say that I personaly spent many enjoyable evenings at the Wizrd and glass with some of the most friendliest and welcoming staff I have ever come across. jennyhemmings - 15 Nov 2007 15:07 |
This is the only public house in Cradley Heath which has a late licence. The backroom is open on a Friday and Saturday night till 2am (smart dress, no caps, no trainers of sports clothes). Which is great if you want to keep partying till the early hours. The backroom is open till 2am Friday and Saturday nights, and is also avalible to book for parties. They have pool tables and games machine's. The bar is newly refurbished with plasma screen tv and leather couches and is so comfy that u dont want to go home. They have a karaoke on a Sunday night which is hosted by Naz and is a great night all age groups welcome.Friendly bar staff and a great atmosphere. Pop in for 1 and you'll stay for more. If you are visiting and have seen this comment mention it to a member of staff, my name is Maxine and i work there on a Friday night. I look forward to seeing you there. maxinebrown - 14 Jul 2005 22:12 |
it is the worst pub in cradley. Over zealous bouncers, rude and abusive staff, expensive drinks and a general miserable atmosphere. Jenny Hemmings - 14 Jun 2004 16:04 |
