Went in here many years ago. A great boozer gone foreever. 8/10 montie49 - 12 Dec 2011 11:39 |
A sad loss, it was one of the last few proper cider pubs left in Exeter, I can remember the Royal Oak from the barrel and the hellfire jukebox too. Such a shame that there seems to be no room left for pubs like this nowadays, even more of a shame that nothing has been built on the site of the pub yet. Demolished with undue haste I reckon. Red Cow's gone! Trequites - 28 Jun 2006 20:01 |
The Red Cow is currently in the process of being demolished, so I think that it's reasonable to assume that it won't be opening ever again and remove it from the database. The owner wants the site for housing, although planning permission has been refused so far. Trequites - 1 Jun 2006 13:58 |
