Great choice of beer. Had Arundel "Trident" but the Langham "Sundowner" was a superb summer ale. Not quite sure why I don't pop in more often as it's comfotable place - maybe the prices? uriahheep - 2 Aug 2010 22:20 |
A superb place! Great selection of ales;and very impressed by the Stout,BLACK WILLIAM. Good and sunny front bench seating to watch the world go by and enjoy my cigar. Very friendly young fella serving too. I shall return! Incidently the above photo bears no resemblance to its present guise. Update the picture please? WILLIAMSTEW - 28 Jul 2010 22:51 |
As mentioned a very nice pub with a real focus on ales. But it loses sever marks as there prices are sky high. I had a lovely pint of kings and i really do object to payiny 3.50. I happen to know how much they pay for some of their beers and this is not far off daylight robbery. In their defence they are run by indigo and much like Drink inn Brighton they are far too expensive for ale! stewie2020 - 5 Jul 2010 22:37 |
In Brighton on buiness so I thought I would be nosey. Got to say I'm impressed all Sussex beers had a dark called locomotive it was divine! A little pricey but pleasant staff very good beer glad I called in. Bmcavie - 6 May 2010 12:51 |
Visited yesterday for the first time since rebranding back to Temple Bar. Interior seems to have been redesigned slightly to give a large island bar which works pretty well. 8 handpumps of which 7 were on, offering a great choice of beer, all from Sussex breweries. Only downside was the prices - ale ranged from 3.20 to 3.50. steve_on_tour - 14 Feb 2010 15:03 |
