Of a lunch-time, this is more a restaurant and you will be pursued for your food order. If you want a pub, it's next door - the reasonably pleasant Cat and Canary. Both are Fuller's premises. Mona_Growser - 23 Sep 2011 11:40 |
obviously raoulduke and pistbloke don't know anything about the wharf, and are too blindto see that there are 100,000 city slickers on the doorstep of the bar so is bound to be full of them!!!!! wake up guys! of the bars in the wharf, it is at the better end of the scale, clean and tidy and fairly prompt service. good for a business lunch if thats what your out for.... but give it a go, i like it anyhow!! booie - 21 Mar 2008 15:39 |
The "fine" line - how very inappropriate. Terrible, overpriced greed hole. I was watching a footy game there and the charmless landlord was openly mocking the very people who were lining his pockets. Hopefully the BeneBene empire will replace this awful place soon. raoulduke - 21 Dec 2007 21:48 |
full of the usual money talking snobs. nowhere to sit down as all the tables are reserved but they are all empty. good bar staff though who know what they are talking about, especially in terms of spirits monkeyjoe3000 - 13 Dec 2006 16:17 |
I have been here at the weekend when it's not busy, and it was fine for a dull and soulless chain pub. I imagine rudeness on the part of the staff is a fairly standard response to the regular city boy punters... OJ360 - 15 Mar 2006 14:02 |
