lots of places to go and hide with your missus. friendly barstaff as well. seats are a bit crap and you can actually get lost in it though.

I booked a table here at the weekend and was a bit worried after having read the comment below. However, we had no difficulties at all. The area was reserved exactly as we asked, clearly marked with a sign rather than a piece of paper.
The booth we were in was pretty cool, although it was a little scary the way the lights would occassionally dim for no reason, but that just added to the entertainment! Be careful not to get lost in there though, you could be gone for hours before you find your friends again...

What a shame that this nice venue is let down by its awful staff and business ethics. Booked an area in the venue six weeks in advance by going in and speaking to the bar manager, told her that there would be about 100 people attending and that we would like to have guest list all night so that late comers could get in ok. She even said we could have free entry. The booking was later confirmed by email...twice..
Well the day of the party rolls round..first of all we get there (on time) only to find our fairly large reserved area, reserved by nothing more then a small bit of paper with 'reserved' on it, which obviously was ignored - 'not my problem was the bar managers response'.
Moving on to around 10.30 - they decided to stop letting people in, when we asked if they could let our guests in, as was previously agreed, the bar manager went on a rant about how it was there fault they were late and we haddnt given her enough notice (6 weeks not enough?), and that we should have organised our guests better etc, refusing to let anyone else in, including my brother, and finally threatening to throw me out because i dared to question her bar managedment skills!
In short very rude staff with massive chips on both shoulders, do not book a party there! on the other hand if you jsut want a cool little venue for a drink, you could do worse..

Absolutely amazing. Reminds me of Scarletts / Angies Den from EastEnders. A really amazing place, the best cocktails, very upmarket with perfectly pleasant prices and lovely food - you have to try the Jacket Potato skins! The decor is amazing and this place is full of new booths and corners to discover. Absoutely smashing, can't sing its praises enough!
