| I don't know how this place looked when the last reviewer visited but the Steam Room opened in September 2020 offering additional indoor seating for the autumn and winter months located on the first floor and in the part of the building that was built in the early 1900s joined to the original stone building from the late 18th Century. In addition, the Turbine Room is located right above the Tap Room and therefore in the same part of the original stone building which dates from 1794 - I'm sure I saw a sign directing families upstairs - and there is also a large beer garden overlooking the mill leat and Watermeadows. Anyway, I only had time for half a pint of Rubio on Saturday at midday when there was only a handful of other drinkers; the beer quality was as good as you'd expect from a brewery tap and there were 6 of the brewery's own ales on tap as well as the guest Rudgate Valkyrie. paul_d102 - 7 Apr 2025 09:22 |
