| Shuttered as of 11 March. The plan to convert it into a hotel seems to be going ahead. | What a shithole this place has become. Whilst the beer is ok and the live music its best feature, the standard of the pub is very poor. Venturing into the gents loo is like walking into the proverbial black hole of Kolkata: grimy, squelchy underfoot, stinking and bleak. Not surprisingly it's quiet a fair bit of the time and has often closed when you would think it would be open. I've heard that it is going to be converted into a hotel....
