| The St. Austell brewery in an attempt to hit the theme pub market and in the main, it doesn't work - the building is nice but it's all shiny shiny inside. | Great location in a former bonded warehouse overlooking the quayside. Having imbibed too heavily the night before, I got the ball rolling with 2/3rd of a pint of something dark and wintery which revived me considerably (although perhaps not sufficiently for me to remember the name of this or the next pint). Plenty of choice on the beer front, guests as well as regular St Austell ales. Tasty food and good service meant we enjoyed ourselves here (actually there was too much slow-cooked beef brisket but who complains about having too much?). paul_d102 - 13 Dec 2016 17:12 |
