More like drinking in a glass-fronted aircraft hangar than a pub. There was supposed to be a beer festival taking place but Shepherd Neame Hop County seemed to be the most unusual offering. The unlisted-on-this site Craft Inn opposite is a much better choice but, as the name might suggest, its a very different kettle of fish. paul_d102 - 8 Apr 2019 18:59 |
Don`t try to have a drink upstairs unless it`s from the tap in the loos! Seems to have a forest of furniture at the mo, after a couple of their fine beers, trying to negotiate the maze can be a bit difficult to say the least! Blastbeat - 16 Oct 2015 15:01 |
Located in Parkgate Centre. Split over two floors. Interesting selection of local history and artwork. Decent enough Spoons ale selection. Clean tidy pub. 10/10 to Nicki and Co. SassySalopian - 25 Mar 2015 21:58 |
Apart from the slightly dated.... er I mean retro décor inside at odds with the modern glass frontage outside there`s not much not to like about this JDW...plenty of real ales and ciders to enjoy, standard food menu, clean toilets e.t.c and it`s closer to my house than the White Swan in Solihull...bonus!
