I have been going to the Bug for years when it and the fridge bar were the only late bars in Brixton. Rumour has it that it will be closing shortly a shame. It's dark and dingy which is it's charm. It can be hit or miss which usually depends on the DJ, but as a rule always a laugh as people always seem up for dancing. But the uni-sex toilets bad bad bad idea !! anonymous - 22 Jun 2005 15:16 |
Quality place, love it! Friendly staff and punters made it a great late Friday night the first time I went in here, so refreshingly down to earth after a horrendous night in Red Cube (or something) in Leicester Square that we literally ran out of cos it was so dire (friend's leaving do before going to off to Oz so not our idea). Will definitely return. Cleversaz - 14 May 2005 23:50 |

Horrible place. Dark, dingy, shite music, crap bar staff, and all in a quite good location. Give me 50,000 and 6 months and this place could be incredible. Shame really... Ali - 28 Feb 2004 06:31 |
The underground bit next to the restaurant is quite interesting; the barmen practice making cocktails as if it's Zen archery or something and keep fussing over your alcoholic masterpiece even after you've started drinking it! Wixy - 20 Jan 2004 10:51 |
