As the previous review states, not much of a drinking area. This spoons is geared towards diners with a large area at the rear. Great selection on ales including a Locale which is brewed especially for the pub called Mellors. This is a pale ale by Lincoln Green i think. All beers cheap as you would expect and well kept. The place still looks new but how long will this last? soco1982 - 10 Mar 2015 11:13 |
Thought U'd better review this, since no-one else has yet. Here is an extract from a blog I wrote which included a visit... "The first thing I noticed about the Lady Chatterley was the large area for drinking in front of the building (which was set back from the road). On entering the second thing I noticed was that the beer range was much better than I had been led to expect ! There were 12 handpumps, consisting of Abbot, GK IPA, Doom Bar, London Pride, Broadside, a cider and 6 guests (priced at £2.15). I had a half of Lincoln Green’s Hood – a basic bitter but pleasant enough. I decided to sit outside, and had just settled myself into a table when I realised that none of the outside tables had a menu. Venturing back inside I realised that neither did any of the tables near the front of the pub ! I had to go further back into what was obviously a dining area before I could find one.
