| After a visit to Y Goron Fach, an excellent micropub not listed on BITE, my third stop in Denbigh was the Guildhall. This is quite an upmarket place and has accommodation too. Prices were too expensive when we enquired about staying in the town in December, whilst the Hope & Anchor offered as a room, but then let us down. With only 2 other customers on my early Saturday evening visit, it wasn't very lively in the Guildhall. But the surroundings make for a cosy drinking environment. Facer's Abbey Red is the real ale.
