| Nice thatched pub in Heavitree with an excellent selection of cask ales - usually 6. A couple are usually from Otter which seems to be pretty rare in Exeter seeing as the brewery isn't that far away. Friendly locals, too. There is an excellent Italian restaurant just over the road which we like to frequent so it's a good choice for a couple of beers before your meal. My only gripe would be that often the Otter Ale at 4.5% is the strongest on offer (at least when I go there) and I prefer something a bit stronger. Trequites - 2 Jul 2016 16:05 |
