| I thought I would pay this pub a visit, as I heard it is now dispensing real ale. But Doom Bar was the only ale available, with an Atlantic pumpclip turned round. I went for the M & B Mild, not bad value for £2. The pub does have a very seedy feel with glass mirrors all round promoting the lap dancing bar (Aphrodite) downstairs. | A grim, city centre pub with no real ale. An edgy place with some real 'characters'. In the toilets I encountered a middle aged bloke talking to himself whilst gently butting the wall. He was oblivious to my presence. There's a lap dancing bar in the basement. wirraldrinker - 17 Feb 2014 20:08 |
