| Not a lot has changed since my earlier review except that as Tuna says the pub has been judged as Camra National of the year. Beers are consistently good and are always changed for something different when a cask runs out. Ruby Mild from Rudgate is a permanent beer. Other beers are from Yorkshire micro breweries. | The George and Dragon was bought through shares by the local community some 4 years ago. The first tenants unfortunately had to leave in July due to ill health. The new tenant has undertaken some refurbishment and installed a bigger bar which means he can now serve 5 real ales. On a recent visit local micro breweries were represented and Black Sheep has gone. Beers sampled were in good condition. Food menu has been changed but have not sampled it.
