Beer still excellent even if it is a 'creche for men' - The Bristol Beer Factory's 'The Great North West was excellent and the best pint have had for a while. Snarling_Mallard - 13 Oct 2019 20:51 |
Very nice pint of their own well-priced 6% IPA yesterday on our way to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Packed to the rafters but service was almost still instant amazingly. It still wouldn't be a place that I'd particularly seek out though. paul_d102 - 13 Aug 2017 19:29 |
Excellent (though unassuming) place to sit and sample a few quality beers whilst your nearest and dearest goes shopping. Trev - 3 Feb 2017 19:43 |
A pub and microbrewery inside the Westfield Shopping Centre just outside Waitrose. There are a few other food outlets alongside it. It's an open plan pub with no walls on two sides. There are quite a few tables and chairs for those seeking a decent watering hole after a days shopping or like me waiting for a train connection. There were 2 Tap East beers on when I visited along with several other real ales. The Kew Sandycombe Gold was very nice as was the local JWB. The bar staff were friendly and there was a TV on with the sound down. By no means a local or a pub to go out of the way for but definitely a place to visit if in the area. outtamehead - 12 Jul 2016 13:27 |
Ten out of ten, obviously, for the stunning range of beers available, but only one or two out of ten for the experience of drinking in a corner carved out of a massive shopping centre. Not cheap, either. mozzzzzz - 5 Aug 2015 12:00 |
