If you want a decent meal at a sensible price in Knutsford, this is your place. The Joey burger was a proper sized meal and dessert was good too. From the hand pumps I had a pint of the Holts bitter which was OK, if a little bland, followed by the Holts IPA which was more to my taste and very refreshing. As another reviewer has pointed out, the tiling in the gents is interesting, but not unpleasant at all, a change from the normal dull white tiling and anti-slip flooring you get in so many places. I probably wouldn't call in just for the beer, but their pricing on food makes this a winner for me. RealAleRobUK - 16 Jul 2013 11:15 |
Holt's are usually known for their honest backstreet Manchester boozers. This soulless refurb of an old town pub is squarely aimed at the 'Cheshire Set'. More akin to having a pint in a trendy motorway service area cafe than a pub. anonymous - 6 Mar 2011 13:44 |

Great pub and wonderful food. Bar staff are always very freindly. I suggest the House bitter Joey holts. AdamE - 16 Nov 2006 16:19 |
Had some great meals here, and the portions, WOW. Now its been done up, its like a wine bar type of thing. Lager is warm though. melonballs - 31 Mar 2006 10:58 |
