| Very nice little boozer with a modern interior. One of Belper's better pubs. Spitfire is always on offer, plus two guests, most of which tend to be local as it is part of the LocAle scheme. Whenever I'm in there it either seems to be absolutely packed out to the point that you're struggling to move, or completely dead. Food on offer is of high quality but at mostly affordable prices. There's an upstairs bar and a downstairs lounge, keeping the diners and drinkers separate, which seems to work very well as from experience they tend to get in each others' way. jarofporter - 14 Apr 2011 19:49 |
