| I doubt that the pub has many regulars, the landlord is nothing short of a pervert, with the disgusting things hes been saying about his regulars. His lewd comments made to locals had made most most leave, & all this just to get a cheap laugh with his cronies . His comments are designed to belittle & embarrass the person. | I totally agree with Beer666,, its a lovely pub with good food & ale, but the attitude of the landlord is bazzare to say the least . His most annoying habit is to "forget" the lime in my larger, three of us in last Friday, Just us, friend went to buy a round of drinks, mine no lime, so had to get up & go to the bar, landlord just said he never said it was yours,(despite serving in my used glass) he thought this really funny. | Landlord has a very poor attitude to customers. Landlady is a saint extraordinarily hard working. Landlord does serve a good pint. There is often 3 casks on plus the normal run of the mill stuff. Also open all day apart from winter when they have one day off. Again Landlord leaves a lot to be desired, thinks something is funny when the majority of customers don't. Oddly this behaviour is normally towards regulars as opposed to passing trade? Food (supplied by the Landlady) is good rather great. Could be due to her staggeringly large menu. The pub interior is fairly modern he does keep a good fire though. Decent sized car park. Pool table unless some event is on. Sports fans note Telly on most of the day. Has normal pub quizzes etc but has more events on than most pubs check there site. Landlord 2 out of 10. Landlady 9 out of 10. Therefore rating 5.5.
