| Newish landlords of approx 12 months have taken some time settling in. Still need to finish redecoration and refit - and the progrss so far is quite amateurish in places (e.g tiles in Gents simply emulsioned over - paint already flaking off). Serves meals throughout the day that are reasonabley priced and OK value along with the ubiquitous Sunday Carvery. Large screen T.V's that at times seem to be utilised simply for the entertainment of the landlord or his family. Has bands on, usually on Saturdays but occasionally Fridays plus mid week quizzes, psychic events etc. As for the beer - well it's your usual largers and the dreaded 'Smooth's' from Tetleys & John Smiths, which is a real shame as the pub used to supply at least a couple of cask ales.
